Bella is a sweet and sassy cat looking for her forever family.

She is currently being cared for by the Scottish SPCA (SSPCA) Caithness and Sutherland Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre at Balmore near Thurso.

Bella loves attention, but only on her own terms. She enjoys head scratches but is not shy about telling you when she’s had enough. She is independent and does not like being picked up, and so she requires and understanding family who will be happy to let her go her own way.

She would prefer to live in a rural location where she can come and go as she pleases. She will be a fantastic companion for the right owner.

If you can give Bella her new home, please apply via the Scottish SPCA website at www.scottishspca.org/rehome-a-pet/11176-bella

Can you give an animal a loving home? Every year the SSPCA home at Balmore provides a safe haven for all sorts of animals that have nowhere else to go. This can be for a variety of reasons – abuse, abandonment, death of their owner or even the simple fact their owner is no longer able to look after them. While they’re loved at the Caithness and Sutherland centre, the staff want just one thing for the animals in their care – for them to find a loving forever home. If you think you’re that person and have room in your life for a pet visit: scottishspca.org/rehome/rehome

All rehoming is taking place online at the moment.
