Overturned lorry leads to road closure in Sutherland

A Sutherland road has closed after a lorry overturned.

Highland Council tweeted at 10.37am that the Lairg to Laxford Bridge route is closed between Dalchork Junction and Laxford Bridge.

The authority says the shut-down is due to an overturned gas lorry. The closure was requested by Police Scotland.

Local access from Lairg to Achfary is being maintained.
