The first screening will be on March 16 at Melness Hall 6.30pm for 7pm, and the film to be shown is Dough.

However a warning has been sounded that the continuation of Films Gu Leòr is strongly dependent on turnout.

A spokesperson for the film group said: "Turnout for our first few screenings really will determine the future of this venture so let's make it a success!"

The film tells the story of an old Jewish baker who struggles to keep his business afloat until his young Muslim apprentice accidentally drops cannabis in the dough and sends sales sky high.

Starring Jonathan Pryce (Game of Thrones), Pauline Collins (Shirley Valentine), Jerome Holder, Malachi Kirby (Roots) and Ian Hart, it is directed by John Goldschmidt.
