NHS Highland posts warning about Raigmore Hospital waiting times today

The health board is directing people to other sources of help today.

NHS Highland is warning patients about long waiting times at Raigmore Hospital.

The health board has posted advice via social media.

It advises patients: "Raigmore Hospital is very busy today.

"If you need urgent care that is not life-threatening, call NHS24 on 111.

"NHS 24 will direct you to the most appropriate care, which might be a minor injuries unit, phone or virtual appointment, pharmacy or A&E."
