There were eight new Covid-19 cases recorded in the NHS Highland area in the past 24 hours.
The total figure rose from 622 yesterday to 630 today, according to figures for each health board area published by the Scottish Government.
Across Scotland, a total of 344 new cases of Covid-19 were reported.
Sadly, there was one new reported death of an individual who had tested positive.
The national figures show that 12 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed Covid-19.
A total of 105 people were in hospital yesterday with a recently confirmed diagnosis.
There was a total of 17,759 new tests that reported results.
The Greater Glasgow and Clyde area saw a rise of 172 cases recorded over the past 24 hours.
Forty new cases were recorded in Lothian and 12 in Grampian.
There was another rise on the Western Isles with four new cases registered, bringing the total to 17.
But there were no new cases logged in Orkney or Shetland.
