NHS Highland is actively seeking volunteers to assist in a variety of ways at the Bonar Bridge based hospital, to make sure patients feel welcome and valued during their time receiving care.

Volunteers at the health facility will provide support to enable individuals to take part in activities offered by the hospital, conversation with patients, and supporting the use of the hospital's outdoor space in good weather.

The health authority is seeking volunteers who are approachable, reliable, friendly and helpful, with good communication skills.

All volunteers will receive training and will be required to complete a Disclosure Scotland check, with expenses met by NHS Highland.

Interested parties are invited to contact Ian McConnell, volunteer services manager on 01463 704867 or 07815005336.
