New zero waste shop Ness Refill set to open in Inverness city centre this month

INVERNESS city centre is set to welcome a new zero waste shop later in March.

Ness Refill is expected to open on Queensgate – in what used to be McColl's premises – on March 18.

Customers will be able to fill up their containers with a selection of selection of pantry items, fresh produce, household cleaners and washing products among others.

Owner Evelyn Elder said in a post that they are welcoming new ideas as they prepare the shop to open.

It comes after other zero waste shops have successfully opened in the Highlands in the past years, the latest being The Highland Weigh in Nairn.
