New Sutherland group has mental health and wellbeing at its heart

A NEW mental health and wellbeing group is being established in Sutherland and will hold its first meeting this month.

The new mental health and wellbeing group comes under the wing of the Sutherland Community Planning Partnership.

The new group comes under the wing of the Sutherland Community Planning Partnership (SCP) and was formed following its last meeting in December when mental health was the main item on the agenda.

Membership of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Sub-Group will include community representatives and statutory organisations.

Meanwhile Sutherland Community Planning Partnership next meets online at 10am on Friday, February 12, via Microsoft Teams.

Mental health will again be on the agenda along with the introduction of FareShare Development worker for the Highlands and Islands, Michael Sutherland.
