Youth Initiative coach Mary Stewart said: “We are very grateful to SSE for their sponsorship to enable us to buy these hoodies and for their continued support to help us cover our ongoing costs at Brora Rangers Youth Initiative.”

The Youth Initiative caters for children from primary one age up to secondary two. Training sessions are held on a Thursday night at the school pitches, the gym and the astro turf beside Dudgeon Park.

Mrs Stewart said: “We believe it is beneficial on many levels physically, mentally and socially for our youngers to be involved in football and to be included as part of a group like this.

“Wearing the hoodies with the club badge gives them a sense of pride and a sense of belonging.

“As a club we recognise that these youngsters are the future of Brora Rangers and we want them to feel like they are very much a part of the club from a young age.”
