A new attraction has opened at Landmark Forest Adventure Park which takes families up into the high tops of the trees.

The Red Squirrel Trail was launched on April 6 and means visitors can experience the ancient pinewood like never before

Ross Coulter, general manager at Landmark Forest Adventure Park, said: "It has been brilliant to see visitors enjoying our newest attraction - The Red Squirrel Trail.

“Families can now climb up into the trees and experience the ancient pinewood like never before.

“Since the opening Saturday, visitors have been navigating through a netted walkway that weaves between the trees, before reaching a wooden viewing platform suspended eight metres above the ground.

“It's definitely been a huge hit with families since opening.”

And there are special pine tree residents to look-out for en-route. Visitors are urged not to forget to keep their eyes peeled for red squirrel - they might just be lucky enough to see one!
