TOP Scottish stand-up comedian Joe Camay is playing a show at Royal Tarlair Golf Club in Macduff, on Saturday (September 28), which looks destined to be a sell-out.

One of the country's funniest performers, Camay has worked with many in the entertainment business, including TV legends Bob Monkhouse and Des O'Connor on screen and in theatres across the UK.

His TV career has also seen him work with mainstream comedy stars such as Bill Bailley, Alastair McGowan, Lee Evans, Fred MacAulay and Alan Stewart.

Known for his acerbic, dry and erudite humour, his Royal Tarlair show is a must for anybody who is not easily offended and enjoys a good belly laugh.

A regular performer in venues as diverse as North Sea oil rigs and several of Her Majesty's prisons, Camay enjoys the idea of "having a captive audience in stitches".

The evening also includes music from the Starlite Disco.

Hugely popular X-Factor contestant Joe Whelan, who wowed a packed Royal Tarlair clubhouse audience earlier this year, has also confirmed he will be returning to the venue next month.

Singer/guitarist Whelan will play the Royal Tarlair clubhouse on Saturday, October 26, with tickets going on sale soon.

Tickets for Joe Camay's appearance, priced at £5, are on sale now from the Royal Tarlair clubhouse.
