Synopsis: Adam, an underground musician reunites with his lover for centuries after he becomes depressed and tired with the direction human society has taken. Their love is interrupted and tested by her wild and uncontrollable little sister.
Why You Should See It: This was one of What's On North hot picks for this year (you can see what else we picked here) so I think it would be good to let our very own Calum Macleod explain his anticipation for the film: “There is something slightly otherworldly about Nairn’s resident Oscar winner Tilda Swinton, so casting her as a vampire in the latest movie from indie cinema darling Jim Jarmusch (Down By Law, Ghost Dog: Way of The Samurai) seems a pretty shrewd move. Tom Hiddleston, the real star of the Thor movies, plays her undead other half and a tasty cast includes John Hurt and Mia Wasikowska.”
