COMIC Paul Merton is bringing four of his chums - including his wife, fellow improviser Suki Webster - to Eden Court and Aberdeen's Music Hall next month to recreate live onstage the magic of 80s TV hit, Whose Line Is It Anyway.

Along with Mike McShane, Lee Simpson, Richard Vranch and Suki, Merton will create a new and unique comedy show every night on their UK tour. The unscripted show will rely on suggestions from the audience and their own improvisational skills.

Merton, a founder member of the Comedy Store Players, still appears at the Comedy Store most Sundays, and is a regular guest on Radio 4's Just A Minute, and an established face on TV shows such as Have I Got News For You and Room 101.

American Mike McShane is best known as one of the original crew of Whose Line Is It Anyway, while Lee Simpson is a founder member of Improbable, one of the country's foremost theatre companies.

Another Comedy Store Player, Richard Vranch improvises and writes comedy, does voice-overs, animations and panel shows, appears regularly on Radio 4's Just A Minute, and presents a Channel 4 science show.

And Suki Webster is a regular guest of the Comedy Store Players and has toured the world with Merton and her fellow improvisation stars.

Tickets are on sale now for the shows at Eden Court on Saturday, October 26 (online at www.eden-court.co.uk or by calling 01463 234234) and for Aberdeen Music Hall on Sunday, October 27 (www.boxofficeaberdeen.com, phone 01224 641122).
