INVERNESS Opera Company is looking for new recruits as the company gears up for next year’s show at Eden Court.

Following its critically acclaimed show Jekyll and Hyde: The Musical earlier this year, IOC is planning something a little bit different for its 2014 Eden Court run.

Day and Night is an original show that brings together songs from both classic and modern shows, and even throws in a bit of Queen, in what Inverness Opera Company promise is a show with something for everyone.

Starting in a cafe and finishing in a nightclub, Day and Night is directed by Caroline Nicol and — at the last count — contains 27 songs from Cole Porter, Cabaret and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

Anyone who would like to be part of the show is invited to join Inverness Opera Company’s existing members when they meet for rehearsals at Millburn Academy, Inverness, at 7.30pm on Tuesday, or any Tuesday following.

For more information see the IOC website www.invernessopera.co.uk

Day and Night will be performed at the Empire Theatre, Eden Court, from Wednesday 26th to Saturday 29th March 2014.
