The verdict: “Despite the weather been a little wintry this week there was no frosty atmosphere in the sale ring as buyers brought with them some much-needed spring cheer. Combined with the hope of some warmer weather in the coming weeks all classes cashed in at increased values in particular grazing stirks. Shapey continental types met an unpredicted demand, as too did heavier short-keep cattle keeping in line with the increasing prime values.”
