The LNER service is a vital connection between Inverness and England.

Today's main morning train service from Inverness to London has been cancelled.

Operators LNER say the 07:55 Highland Chieftain east coast service to the UK capital's King's Cross station had to be withdrawn because of a shortage of available crew members.
