Police are carrying out enquiries across Scotland to locate the 46-year-old and believe he may be heading to or currently within the region of Sutherland or Wester Ross area.

Anyone who can assist officers trace Mr Headley is asked to come forward immediately.

He is described as white, 6ft 4ins tall with a heavy build, grey eyes, short black hair, a tanned complexion and scars on his scalp and back of head.

Mr Headly was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt and was driving a blue Ford Tourneo Connect T230 Van, with the markings FIRST CHOICE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT thereon.

A police spokesman said: "Our enquiries have led us to believe Mr Headley is travelling to the North of Scotland. However, officers have not yet been able to locate him.

"We would ask that he make contact with a friend, loved on or police as soon as possible and let us know he is safe and well.
