Police are issuing an appeal for sightings of a Newbridge man who has been reported missing and may be in the Sutherland or West Ross area of the Highlands.

Since then, however, he has not returned home or made contact with family or friends.

Police are carrying out enquiries across Scotland to locate the 46-year-old and believe he may be heading to or currently within the region of Sutherland or Wester Ross area.

Anyone who can assist officers trace Mr Headley is asked to come forward immediately.

He is described as white, 6ft 4ins tall with a heavy build, grey eyes, short black hair, a tanned complexion and scars on his scalp and back of head.

Mr Headly was last seen wearing a blue polo shirt and was driving a blue Ford Tourneo Connect T230 Van, with the markings FIRST CHOICE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT thereon.

A police spokesman said: "Our enquiries have led us to believe Mr Headley is travelling to the North of Scotland. However, officers have not yet been able to locate him.

"We would ask that he make contact with a friend, loved on or police as soon as possible and let us know he is safe and well.

"Similarly anyone who can assist officers with their investigation is also asked to get in touch with police in Inverness on 01463 715555.
