Man (64) posted missing while tackling across Ross route is found safe and well, police confirm

A MAN posted missing last night has been traced safe and well.

Police had last night issued a public appeal for help finding Gerard Storey (64) who had set out from Ardgay to Ullapool on a bike.

Police said today: "We can confirm that Gerard Storey, who had been reported missing on a trip between Ardgay and Ullapool, has been traced safe and well.

"Thank you to everyone who shared our earlier appeal."
