Missing Highlander tracked down 'safe and well'

The search for missing Highland man John Prentice is over.

Police Scotland issued a statement this evening.

"We can confirm that John Prentice (64), who was reported missing from Balintore, near Tain, has been traced safe and well.

"Thank you to everyone who shared our earlier appeal."
