Easter Ross MP Jamie Stone set to hit the road for summer tour of sprawling Far North constituency

A TAIN-based MP covering a huge swathe of Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross is embarking on a tour of the sprawling constituency.

Jamie Stone heads out on Monday (August 14) with a schedule of 15 stops across the Far North.

He will call at a variety of locations for surgeries as well as meetings with local businesses and stakeholders.

Mr Stone said:"The summer recess is a time I really look forward to in the year. It is one of the few breaks in the Parliamentary schedule that allows me to travel the vast distances necessary to meet with constituents from all corners of the constituency.

"It is a real privilege to have the opportunity to see the beautiful landscapes and to catch up with familiar and new faces."
