A Highland support service offering lifeline help to a growing community is keen to find out how it can best support the Easter Ross area.

Mikeysline offers confidential support for people in emotional distress, facing mental health issues or who are in crisis.

With a main base in Inverness, it operates 'Hives' across the Highlands and is keen to branch out to provide specific support needed in different areas.

A Tain and district consultation on services provided by the charity in the Easter Ross peninsula is being held this Wednesday (August 2) from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

It is being hosted at the premises of Tain and District Development Trust at 8 Tower Street, Tain, IV19 1DY.

People with an interest are being invited to attend to share their thoughts. The group said: "Come along and tell us what young people and adults in Tain & District need from

Mikeysline services now. Just feel free to come along."
