Magician uses magic trick to give coronavirus health message to children

A SCOTTISH magician has turned his hand – quite literally – to spreading an important health message to children during the coronavirus lockdown.

Edinburgh-based Gareth White describes himself as a magician, balloon twister and all-round entertainer.

While the coronavirus lockdown has created problems for entertainers across the industry, the enterprising magician has started to offer virtual party packages for children.

He has also just released a special magic trick centred around the importance of proper hand-washing during the Covid-19 crisis.

He said of the video, showing how germs can multiply: "It's topical and great for kids during this current pandemic. The importance of washing your hands!"
