Lorry crashes at accident blackspot near Lybster

A lorry came off the A99 road at Occumster near Lybster this morning at a notorious accident blackspot.

The vehicle was seen by a local man at around 6.30am today after it had left the road in a dip at Occumster near a wooded area.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7am, this morning, police received a report of a one-vehicle road crash on the A99 Occumster, near Lybster. There are no reports of any injuries and arrangements are being made to uplift lorry."
