AIRLINE passengers have been given alternative flights or full refunds after an Inverness-Stornoway service was cancelled.

Loganair's 7am flight from Dalcross to Lewis was cancelled on Thursday "due to a technical issue".

A spokesperson for the airline said: “Loganair thanks customers for their patience and understanding. Customers who wished to progress to their destination have been rebooked on to alternative same day flights. Other passengers have obtained a full refund.”
