A fishing boat has run aground off the west coast, sparking a lifeboat rescue.
The alarm was raised around midnight after the vessel got stuck in Loch Broom in Wester Ross.
Lochinver Lifeboat was launched at 6.11am today - and the incident is ongoing.
It is not known how many people are on board, but Stornoway Coastguard, which is co-ordinating the rescue, said there were no reports of any injuries or pollution.
It was currently being decided what the next course of action will be to free the stricken vessel.
