Caithness, Sutherland and Ross MSP, Maree Todd is backing the Citizen’s Advice national ‘Debt Happens’ campaign to raise awareness of the support available locally to those experiencing economic hardship.

Ms Todd said that the cost of living crisis is impacting households the length and breath of her constituency due to excessive energy bills and rising food costs.

“As a result, many households will have been plunged into financial insecurity, where they may be at risk or have fallen into debt," she added.
