Landlines chaos in Durness as radio link affected by bad weather

The radio link that provides landline services to Durness has been disrupted due to poor weather conditions, it has been confirmed.

The BT Group has said that its engineers will climb the relevant radio towers and investigate as soon as it is safe to do so.

It added that mobile and broadband services are not affected and calls to 999 can be made from any mobile phone.
