Communities are pulling together to support the vulnerable in the coronavirus outbreak.

The organisation is keen to offer support to local residents who are self-isolating and have no friends or family to support them.

The fellowship has now put together a team of volunteers who are willing and ready to help eligible residents with essential tasks.

It is happy to undertake tasks such as shopping and delivering medication as well as collecting or posting mail.

Volunteers can also simply make a phone call to ensure vulnerable people do not feel lonely.

Anyone who would like to take advantage of this offer, is asked to contact Angela Sutherland.

She can be reached by landline on 01549 402434; or text 07754485000 or email: lairg.church@outlook.com

Meanwhile Kyle of Sutherland Development Trust is calling out for more volunteers to sign up to support vulnerable people who are self-isolating in its community.

Anyone willing to put themselves forward is asked to email: development@kyleofsutherland.co.uk
