Kyle of Sutherland Fisheries Trust to take part in graduate placement scheme

The Kyle of Sutherland Fisheries Trust is taking part in a scheme aimed at giving new graduates experience and skills in river restoration.

The Working with Rivers Placement Scheme is run by NatureScot, Fisheries Management Scotland (FMS) and Graduate Career Advantage Scotland (GCAS).

Twelve host organisations, including the Kyle of Sutherland Fisheries Trust, are offering six month placements from April to September this year.

A spokesperson said: "Graduates will be able to develop and enhance their skills in river restoration, natural flood management, invasive non native species control and riparian woodland creation."
