The Kyle of Sutherland District Trust (KoSDT) has given its volunteers a Christmas treat to thank them for their efforts throughout 2022.

The trust treated its helpers to a slap-up, three-course meal at the Pier restaurant in Lairg on Thursday, December 8.

KoSDT project manager Beverley Hill said: "Our volunteers selflessly give their free time every week throughout the year on a range of our projects, such as the Community Food Stop Cafe, polytunnel, health walks and community food larder.

"They have many personal reasons for volunteering but the main theme is to help the community in which they live.Without their help and knowledge and experience, some of our services would just not be possible.

"We wish them all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year."
