The Kyle of Sutherland Development Trust (KosDT) has said it is operating two Christmas larders this year because of the cost of living crisis.

The larders will open next Tuesday, December 20, from 10am-2pm and then again the following Friday, December 23, from 10am-2pm and also from 4pm-6pm.

A post on the KoSDT social media page states: "We will provide turkey and all the trimmings along with dessert and a selection box for each child in your household."

However, the trust is warning that people should not just turn up at the larder but must book ahead.

"Please note that booking for these larders is absolutely essential," continues the post. "If you do not book a slot, then unfortunately we will not be able to cater for you. If you already have a weekly, recurring larder slot, then there is no need to contact us."

Anyone who would like to book a slot can do so by phoning KoSDT on: 01863 766190.
