Kessock Bridge closed last night due to 'police incident'

Kessock Bridge was closed for more than an hour last night due to a "police incident".

It is understood emergency services were responding to a concern call with the person traced safely.

Traffic Scotland reported the bridge – part of the A9 – was "closed in both directions due to a police incident" at 10.44pm yesterday.

Motorists were advised to use an alternative route before the road reopened at 12.31am today.
