There was also a special presentation for David Mack, the club's oldest player at the age of 79.

Mr Mack, who was described on the night by chairman Patrick Vickery as "fit as a butcher's dog" and an "inspiring character", cycles to and from games every week and has been with the club since its inception.

The chairman added: "St Duthus Walking Football Club were delighted to present David Mack with lifetime membership of the club, and an inscribed whisky glass bearing the word – ‘legend’.
