Scottish independence campaigners held a march in Inverness.

A spokesman said: "InverYESs, Yes Caithness, YES Moray and many others came out yesterday to kick start our campaign of taking back our streets.

"A glorious crisp autumn day with clear blue skies and swathes of Scotland's flags."

Organisers thanked all who took part and shared these photos on social media.

The spokesman added: "A huge thank you for those that turned up from all over the country. Those who cheered us on from the road side and the toots of encouragement en route."
