TWO dance teachers who have fundraised £1,200 so far for Eden Court by hosting an online panto dance class for nearly 80 dancers.

Claire Darcy and Emily Chapman even got 40 more dancers who couldn’t make Saturday’s event taking the class later on YouTube.

Those who did make it along at 2pm to the online class on Saturday included Chris O’Mara who played last year’s panto baddie Balloch Bennochy.

He revealed on Facebook that he had spent an hour pantomime dancing with “the amazing Claire Darcy and Emily Chapman”.

Claire said afterwards: “We have great feedback and everyone seemed to have a super time, even asking for more classes!

“The fundraising has been a real success and donations are still coming in.

“And people who were unable to join on Saturday are now able to take the full class on my YouTube channel.”
