The latest report on Highland road conditions issued by Highland Council warned motorists of wet roads with light snow cover over higher parts in Sutherland.

According to the report, all priority 1 and 2 roads are being treated.

This comes after a yellow warning in the region expired at 9am this morning, warning for possible icy patches on the roads.
