Councillor Ken Gowans has invited people to take part in a council survey on development.

Highland Council recently published a Development Plans Newsletter for the community.

It outlines how and when people can get involved in shaping future development across the region.

Chairman of the council’s economy and infrastructure committee, Councillor Ken Gowans, said: “Our latest Development Plans Newsletter provides a helpful summary of upcoming opportunities for people to get involved in the planning for their area and demonstrates our keenness to make sure our consultation process is as effective as possible for everyone involved.

“There is still time to take part in the survey, so I encourage as many people as possible to take up this opportunity.”

The council encourages local people and organisations to submit their views on the suitability of the approach to consultation on development plans, by completing its Participation Statement Survey, which is closing at 5pm on May 31.
