Derek Louden SNP – 1051

Sarah Rawlings Scottish Liberal Democrats – 739

Alasdair Rhind Independent – 726

Those Not Elected:

Veronica Morrison Scottish Conservative and Unionist – 364

Fiona Robertson Independent – 554

Main Issues: potholes, the local economy, education, benefits from green energy, local democracy

Fiona Robertson has not been returned to Highland Council in something of an upset in Ward 7.

She was edged out by Liberal Democrat Sarah Rawlings.

Incumbents Alasdair Rhind and Derek Louden were both re-elected.

The final tallies given represent the first preference votes before the Single Transferable Vote System calculations are made.
