Members of the public are being asked to nominate individuals and teams they think deserve recognition.

Nominations are now open for the public to highlight staff and volunteers at High Life Highland that have gone above and beyond in their work.

The charity will recognise staff and volunteers across the organisation at its annual awards ceremony on October 6.

Nominations could be a member of staff from one of HLH’s 23 leisure centres, from one of its 40 libraries, a visitor attraction employee, a youth worker, sport instructor, music teacher, or a helping hand whilst delving through your family history.

High Life Highland chief executive Steve Walsh said: “We would love to hear from you if you have received outstanding service from a member of the High Life Highland team and feel they should be nominated and recognised for their work.

“Our annual ceremony celebrates the huge range of work carried out by our staff and volunteers through all aspects of the charity and right across the Highlands.

“Without the tremendous hard work of our staff and volunteers, the organisation could not provide the essential services to the Highland community, and we think the amazing work carried out each day is something to shout about.”

Nominations should show the positive attitude of a staff member or a team that have made a difference to improve the lives of people or their community between September 1, 2021 through to June 30, 2022.
