Locally based charity Connecting Communities, which supports older people, is organising the screening.

A spokeswoman for the group said: "The event is open to anyone and is free of charge. Do join us if you would like to pay tribute to the Queen alongside other members of the community."

The event starts at 10.30am in the lounge of Helmsdale Community Centre - where the hub is based.

Free Tea and coffee will be provided by local cafe Thyme and Plaice.

Her Majesty is currently lying in state in Westminster Hall where she will remain until Monday morning.

A procession will then take the coffin to Westminster Abbey where the state funeral service will take place.

Following the service, the coffin will travel in procession to St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
