In north west Sutherland, residents at Kinlochbervie contributed to the bright display of hearts in the village’s garage cum post office.

Manager Joyce Armour said: “The tiny village of Kinlochbervie, the most north westerly fishing port on mainland UK took great pride today in decorating their garage/post office window with rainbow hearts, spreading love and support for our NHS.”

Others who have been creating rainbow drawings include residents at Key Housing, Golspie.

Images have been posted on the charity’s Facebook page with the post: “People supported by our Golspie team have been helping to brighten up their neighbourhood by creating and displaying rainbows in their windows.”
