The Great North Coast Scarecrow Trail is back - and it’s bigger and better than ever!

All manner of wonderful creations are already in place with residents along the north coast letting their imaginations run wild.

The trail opened last Saturday, October 22, and runs for a fortnight until November 5.

Organiser Sarah Kerr said: “To have your scarecrow considered for judging, please ensure it is displayed by the end of the day on Sunday, October 30, and that organisers are aware of it.”

Members of the public will be able to vote online for their favourite scarecrows from Monday to Friday October 31-November 4.

The trail ends with a prize-giving event, supported by Melvich SCIO at Halladale Hall, from 1pm-3pm on November 5.

Prizes of £50, £30 and £20 will be awarded.

There will be a display of all the scarecrows at that event. For more information, click here.
