The centre has also set up as an ASDAN accredited centre thanks to a grant from the Essentia Foundation.

As an ASDAN centre, Lochview will be able to provide certified courses, accredited curriculum programmes and regulated qualifications to engage, elevate and empower young people aged 11 to 25 years.

Set up in 2021, Lochview Rural Training Centre delivers land-based training and learning to youths and adults.

Founder, Cara Cameron, said: “We are delighted to have support from these funders which allows us to expand our training provision.

"We can deliver a targeted approach for new people to access learning and skills development. We can now provide more opportunities for our communities and will support other community organisations through partnership working."

Courses will be publicised through the organisation's website and social media channels in due course.
