Golspie family gather to mark milestone 100th birthday

Muriel Houston from Golspie reached the milestone age of 100 last week.

A family celebration to mark her centenary took place at Mull Hall in Barbaraville, where Barbara is now very well cared for.

Relatives travelled from as far afield as Lincoln to be with her on her special day.

Present were Mrs Houston’s two sons, Rod and Ken, and members of their immediate family.

Ken Houston said: "Cards and messages were received from many well-wishers and the cake was something special.”
