Golspie Bothy – a group that promotes cycling and walking in East Sutherland – is giving people an opportunity next week to try out e-bikes and adapted bikes.

The event is being held at Golspie Kart Track on Wednesday, September 28, from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

No booking is required - just turn up on the day.

Amanda Wagstaffe, Cycling UK's project coordinator for Golspie Bothy, said: "There will be all sorts of bikes to try, from e-bikes, wheel chair bikes and hand cycles."

No booking is required - anyone interested should just turn up on the day.

Cycling UK worked in partnership with development group Go Golspie to establish Golspie Bothy last year.

The bothy has since held regular cycle rides in Golspie and district.
