Golspie Community Council on hunt for new members

Golspie Community Council has put a shout out for new members.

The organisation, which currently has seven members, is seeking to encourage others to join.

And anyone interested is invited to go along to the council’s next meeting this coming Monday, August 14. The group meets at Golspie Community Centre lounge from 7.30pm.

Chairman Ian Sutherland said: “Golspie Community Council is recruiting!

“If you are interested and would like to have a meaningful say in the future wellbeing and direction of our community, then please get in touch via our email or our Facebook page or come to our next meeting.

“Informal enquiries are welcome.”

Community councils are the most local tier of statutory representation in Scotland and are a bridge between local authorities and communities.
