It is one of the highlights of the calendar for the people of Lairg.
Local organisation Light up Lairg hosts an annual visit from Santa Claus who travels around the village in his sleigh, bringing presents and festive cheer to all.
Steven MacLean from Light up Lairg said: "We held our annual Santa's Sleigh Run last Friday, December 15, when we collected Santa from Ferrycroft, where his reindeer were resting.
"Everyone was waiting to see the sleigh drive around the village and Santa's elves delivered over 90 presents to children and a few treats to everyone else."

Young people are invited to upload their artwork on the group's Facebook page until Saturday, December 23.
Judging for the best decorated house competition is taking place this week and the winners will be announced on Christmas Eve with £100 going to the winner and £30 to the runner-up.
