The 53-mile vintage tractor run, which raises money for Heart and Stroke Scotland (CHSS) and Macmillan Nurses. will take place for the seventh time next Saturday, July 16.

It is held in memory of motor mechanic Gary Macangus, who died suddenly in December 2013, aged just 53.

This year's run will follow the traditional route with participants gathering at the Meadows in Dornoch around 8.30am before setting off from the town square at about 10am.

The run will be calling in at Embo, Rogart, Lairg - where there will be a lunch stop - Invershin, and Bonar Bridge before returning to Dornoch.

There will be no sponsor forms this year , but bucket collections will be held.
