Full line-up for Peat & Diesel Black Isle two-day festival revealed – and it's going to be a belter!
THE full line-up for a two-day Peat & Diesel headlined Black Isle music event that literally promises to be a belter has been revealed.
Back in October last year, plans for the May 25/26 event at the Black Isle Showground in Muir of Ord were first revealed.
The so-called Black Isle Belter is music to the ears of two local charities, Mikeysline and MFR Cash For Kids, both of which stand to benefit.
The Saturday, May 25, is an age 16-plus show where The View join as main support for what is their first Highland show in years.
There's more of a family feel to the Sunday show at which The Feeling will be the main support act.
A funfair, street food and bars are also planned.
Playing ahead of The View – and the main attraction – on Saturday will be RuMac, Rhythmnreel, Forgetting the Future, Jarad Brown, Abigail Pride, Black Isle Peas, Cundeez and The Cavemen.
Playing before The Feeling and Peat & Diesel on the Sunday night will be The Vatersay Boys, Face the West, The Laurettes, Davy & Sam, Cody Feechan, Calum Campbell and Tartan Paint.
The band announced: "We're delighted to have so many of our friends and amazing artists come along to share the weekend with us.
"Tickets are going quickly so we suggest you jump on and get yours today."
The early promotional plugs for the event also flagged fun events such as Boydie’s Bingo, Tug O War with Innes, and Crazy Golf with Uilly.
And several of the support acts have already taken to social media to share their excitement at being involved.
"We can't wait guys! It's going to be a blast!" posted Rhythmnreal.
The Black Isle Peas wrote: "Although we are usually a very sensible bunch we canna wait to be part of this madness."
Another planning to be there wrote: "This is gonna be the best ever what a line up..... can't wait."
