Frustration as vandals damage Golspie pupils' playhouse and throw items into graveyard

Vandals have been causing damage at Golspie Primary School, a teacher has revealed on social media.
Sara MacGruer posted on Facebook that the roof of a metal shed where toys are stored had been "pushed in", possibly by someone jumping on it.
A playhouse has also had its doors pulled off with all the contents thrown into the nearby Church of Scotland graveyard. Many items were found damaged beyond repair.
Mrs MacGruer posted: "This is very disappointing as this is an important space for the children that they have worked really hard to develop. Day after day they are finding it vandalised."
She added: "We have no funds to replace any items which makes it incredibly frustrating."
Mrs McGruer also said that over the last few weeks large tyres from an obstacle course had been thrown into the graveyard.
She has now asked members of the community to let her know if any young people are seen in the late afternoon or early evening at the school's garden above the graveyard.
One Facebook user commented: "Disgraceful. Not only bad for the kids from the school, but a total disrespect for those who have their loved ones buried at the graveyard."
Golspie Village posted: "This is not the only occurrence of vandalism in the village lately. there have been at least two other locations with damage reported."
